Mickey Mouse Comes to Tallahassee?
No, Mickey Mouse is not in Tallahassee. Apparently, Mr. Mouse is still a bit upset at Governor Ron DeSantis and the Republican-led Florida Legislature for targeting his self-governing status. Aww, rats!
But, there appear to be other members of the Mouse Family setting up shop in the Florida Capitol.
According to State Rep. Angie Nixon (D), there are rats in the Capitol.
No, we are not talking about some of those shady suits who seem to hang around every corner or peddle cookies for a small purchase price.
“So apparently my office in the Florida House of Representatives has rats. Wow. I literally have no words. They put me in an office with rats,” stated Rep. Nixon.
Nixon posted the comment alongside an image of a rat trap that she claims is in her office.
There is no reason not to believe Nixon. Rats are everywhere, even in (especially in) the nation’s Capitol.
Just a few years ago, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R) showed The Floridian a rat trap that was set up in his then-Cannon building office.
Rats. They seem to be everywhere.
