As the GOP continues to pressure the Biden administration over the mounting border crisis, Rep. Scott Franklin (R-FL) spoke before the US Congress to reveal some staggering data on the current state of the border, in what he calls a "First-hand account."

Last week, Franklin and 9 other Republicans from the House Oversight Committee visited the border that Franklin described as a "Self-inflicted disaster," which is also a national security issue and a "humanitarian disaster."

Franklin offered his personal findings at the border, which sounded very contrary to the mainstream narrative.

"These aren't people that we see on television wearing Biden t-shirts looking for the nearest border patrol agents, so they can surrender to them," said Rep. Franklin. "These folks are in full camouflage with ski masks and are usually armed, often with automatic weapons."

Franklin also detailed the lack of support border patrol agents have, especially when they attend children the remote areas of the border remain open for dangerous aliens.

"These intruders who breach the remote parts of the border illegally are referred to as 'get aways' because our agents are outnumbered, usually all they can do is simply document these groups as they pass on by," added Franklin.

Typically records reflect whether these groups have fewer or more than 20 individuals in their party.  Though it is important to note that, "20 plus," according to Franklin could mean 40 or 80 people in a group.

As recently as February of 2021, getaways accounted for over 60,000 illegal immigrants, not counting asylum seekers, drug smugglers, and potential terrorists, according to Franklin's recent comments on Twitter:

With all the data in and the Biden administration's extreme negligence to the southern border, Franklin believes we could be looking at almost 1 million illegal immigrants before 2022.  Data far more extreme than we've seen in the past administration, or even that of the Obama administration at times.
