Florida Keeps Winning: #1 in Parental Envolved Education
The State of Florida has just been ranked #1 in the nation for parent-involved education.
For Gov. Ron DeSantis, its another feather-to-hat moment.
Florida scored at 94.6% ranking, highest of all states.
“Parental involvement is important to a child’s success both in school and in life, and in Florida we are proud to protect parents’ right to be involved in a child’s education,” said Governor Ron DeSantis. “This recognition continues to show that Florida is a national leader in school choice, parent empowerment, and education as a whole.”
Earlier this year, Gov. DeSantis signed into law the Parental Rights in Education legislative measure.
"In Florida, we not only know that parents have a right to be involved, we insist that parents have a right to be involved," said DeSantis
Florida to Flush Diapers Tax Down the Pooper
Only parents can understand the the significance of Diaper Sales Tax relief, especially when the U.S. economy is literally is circling the pooper drain.
Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a Diaper Sales Tax relief measure last legislative cycle, and now State Rep. Anna Eskamani wants to make sure that parents not have to pays sales tax on diapers, permanently.
This is welcome news to parents, who would know how much they pay every week diapers.
Depending on whether your kiddo has a stomach bug or just likes to stuff his or her face with just about piece of food within reach, the amount of dirty doodie diapers increase dramatically on a daily basis.
The average cost of a box of diapers at Publix Supermarkets is about $30 for 60 or so diapers.
