Common Core No More

Gov. Ron DeSantis and Education Secretary Richard Corcoran have announced that the dreaded Common Core education standards, or Florida Standards, will be scrubbed from school curriculums. Sorry, Jeb, Floridians don’t like the standards.

Rep. Ted Deutch-The decision to end the US war in Afghanistan was correct but we owe it to those who gave their lives, including our NATO & coalition partners who went to war alongside us, to assess where failures occurred.

Rep. Anthony Sabatini-We live in one of the most corrupt countries in the world and most people can’t see it.

—Rep. Kathy Castor-The devastating impacts of the climate crisis are all around us: monster hurricanes, extreme cold snaps, record-breaking heat waves. We must meet this moment with critical investments to #BuildBackBetter – in clean energy, innovation, resilience and environmental justice.

Rick Scott=As the Communist Cuban regime continues to oppress its people, I'm proud of Nacho Rocha & other Cuban-American pro-democracy activists demanding that the @UN& the international community stands united with the Cuban people's fight for freedom.

Senator Jason Pizzo-The staff at @AMIkids meet our kids at the crossroads, but you’ll rarely witness a better demonstration of how providing adequate resources can help children succeed. An issue both sides of the @FLSenate should always agree on - state funding for this program is an investment.
