Ever since he left office and was blacklisted from just about every social media platform, former President Donald Trump has been hinting that he was going to run for re-election in 2024 after losing to President Joe Biden in what many believe was a "rigged election." Today in New York City while visiting first responders at the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks, President Trump hinted even more than he was in fact going to run again.
When asked if he was "going to run again," President Trump all but let the cat out of the bag by saying “We’re not supposed to be talking about it yet" as he citing campaign finance laws as being the reason why won't answer the question directly. . . . But think you’re gonna be happy. I think you are going to be very happy."
Trump has used the recently disastrous Afghanistan evacuation to rally his base of support.
"Has anybody noticed that the Biden Administration, working in close conjunction with the Fake News Media, has promoted mandates very hard in order to get people to stop talking about the most incompetent withdrawal from a war site in history? They will talk about anything, other than the Rigged 2020 Presidential Election results, in order to get people’s minds off of the horror show that has just taken place in Afghanistan," stated Trump on Saturday.
President Biden's approval ratings have plummeted to 44%.
"Only 44% of voters polled approve of his job performance as president, according to an ABC News/Washington Post poll out Friday.
In addition," an Emerson College poll shows Biden would lose to former President Donald Trump in a hypothetical showdown for president if both ran in 2024 — 47-46 percent. Biden has mentioned he intends to run for re-election; Trump has been cagey about it." (Boston Herald)
Question: Are you going to run again Mr. President?
Trump: “We’re not suppose to be talking about it yet . . . But think you’re gonna be happy.”
