Wasserman Schultz’s Survival Milestone
Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D), who is arguably one of the most influential Florida lawmakers in Congress, announced that she has reached a personal milestone in her life, reaching the 15th anniversary of being cancer free.
Rep. Wasserman Schultz’s battle with cancer has been well-documented, and every year the veteran lawmaker leads her colleagues in the yearly Congressional Women’s Softball game to raise money and awareness for breast cancer.
