Florida Rep. Michael Waltz has taken his wrath out on Apple CEO Tim Cook, calling him an “apologist” for Communist China, and for leading the Big Tech giant in “aiding a murderous regime.”
“It's absolutely disgusting. Tim Cook is an apologist for a dictatorship. I hope at some point he is held to account for that, but at this point, all his eggs are in CCP’s basket,” said Rep. Waltz during an appearance on the Fox Business Channel.
Waltz was on fire, saying that the blood of thousands of Chinese men and women was on Cook’s hands.
“He’s going to say or do whatever it takes on the backs of these poor people,” added Waltz.. “He’s culpable, and the blood is on his hands.”
Waltz said that Cook and Apple are beholden to China because their entire supply chain operation is based in China.
Tim Cook is an apologist for a dictatorship, helping silence Chinese protesters by restricting AirDrop on iPhones only sold in Mainland China.
