Demings Gets Big Campaign Jolt

JUICE—The 2022 U.S. Senate race between Florida Senator Marco Rubio (R) and Rep. Val Demings (D) will be one of the most contentious races in recent history, and the fact that Rep. Demings outraised Sen. Rubio in Q3 of this year, could be a sign that the senior senator from Florida will have his hands full.

But money aside, Demings will have to shed her Progressive skin in order to convince Floridians she will be the better senator.

Rubio has been rock-solid and had delivered for Florida, the nation, but Demings is hoping that she will be able to convince voters that Rubio has done nothing for them.

That will be a heavy lift.

Rubio correctly labeling Demings as a Progressive, who has carried the Biden Administration’s current agenda of pushing forward progressive policies, will be easy.

Voting records speak for themselves, and Demings’ record of voting alongside the Democratic Socialist “Squad” in the House of Representatives is a problem for her. READ MORE
