Trump Crushes DeSantis, Pence, GOP Field in new 2024 Poll

Share

As the Biden Administration continues to falter, and as more Americans continue to question the president's leadership, another popular opinion poll shows that Republicans and Independents would still vote for former President Donald Trump if the 2024 Republican presidential primary election was held today.

The POLITICO/ Morning Consult poll shows that 45% of those surveyed would vote for President Trump with only 12% supporting Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former Vice President Mike Pence.

The poll clearly shows that Trump still holds considerable support among that electorate and as President Biden continues to commit presidential missteps in domestic and foreign policies, polling numbers for Trump will all but certainly continue to rise.

There is little doubt that Trump is the "Republican Kingmaker" going into the 2022 midterm elections and the recent Iowa and Michigan rallies he held are proof that his popularity continues to soar.

Trump called for a forensic audit of the 2020 Michigan election results during the weekend rally.

It is important to note that the poll assumes that Republicans like DeSantis, Cruz, Pence, and Rubio would actually attempt to challenge Trump in the primary.

That is not going to happen. If Trump runs for re-election in 2024, he immediately clears the field upon announcing.
