Biden Administration Still Hasn't Done Anything on Cuba
JUICE—House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy was in Miami-Dade County along with Gov. Ron DeSantis, Reps. Michael McCaul, Carlos Gimenez, Maria Elvira Salazar, Victoria Spartz, Mark Green, and Mario Diaz-Balart, to pay tribute to those who took part in the Bay of Pigs military operation, and to call out the current Cuban regime and the Biden administration for their inaction as protests in Cuba continue.
Rep. Diaz-Balart, who organized the event lead the charge, told The Floridian the Biden was showing failed leadership by not acting, as did Leader McCarthy who also told The Floridian that the media has been failing to pressure the Biden administration, the pressure he believes could ultimately force the president to act accordingly in favor of the Cuban people.
Gov. DeSantis addressed the press conference first but then hurried out the back door in order to make his 2 pm event in Tampa.
Gov. DeSantis flew in for the 8:30 am breakfast in Miami with dissidents and did not leave until almost 1 pm shortly after he addressed reporters.
Also in attendance were former State Rep. Esteban Bovo, State Senators Manny Diaz and Ileana Garcia, and Lt. Gov. Jeanette Nunez, as well as other local elected officials and activists.
National Republicans Begin Targeting Florida Democrat
Rep. Stephanie Murphy sells herself as a “moderate” congressional Democrat, but her opponent Republican State Rep. Anthony Sabatini is calling her a “Leftist” and now the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) has launched its first campaign ad against her.
The ad is not targeting her voting record, in which she votes alongside of the Progressive “Squad” over 90% of the time, but on “harmful economic policies” that Republicans say have caused the current rise in inflation. READ MORE
President Trump Calls “GAME OVER” for the “Woke” U.S. Women’s Soccer team
Like many Americans disgusted with the disrespect shown for the U.S. Flag and National Anthem, I was rooting for the U.S. Women’s Olympic Soccer team to lose.
They did.
Relegated to playing for the Bronze Medal, Americans cheered that they would lose that consolation prize, but they managed to squeak out a 4-3 victory over Australia.
President Trump called the group out and their “purple hair” leader. READ MORE
Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz-American working families lost one of their strongest voices & allies. This coal miner’s son (Richard Trumka) fought for everyone who really makes America run. I'll personally miss this fierce defender of dignity for all those who toil to keep this country running. May his memory be a blessing.
Shevrin “Shev” Jones-If you rearrange the letters in “depression” you get “I pressed on.” Don’t you dare give up. You got this!
Michael Grieco-This move by Dept of Ed will backfire. Parents forced to attend schools without mask mandates will seek the same redress, and if denied, will sue the sh*t out of them. It’s more theater. Costly, costly theater.
Blaise Ingoglia-Who writes this crap for you?? Seriously…who writes it? I want to help keep them in that position for the rest of the campaign. Where do I send the check? cc: @ChristinaPushaw
Senator Jason Pizzo-Upside of being an elected official in the minority party:The autonomy to engage and support an informed position, not the whim or inflexibility of another’s ambitions. The freedom (and duty) to follow what’s fair, not just doing what you’re told.
Ron DeSantis-American dissidents from Marxist regimes in Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua understand the evils of communism and the gift of freedom. These Americans have fought to keep it out of our country and they still fight for freedom in their native countries.
