Byron Donalds-Today, voting closed before I could cast my NO vote.

I DO NOT support today's flawed CR, which continues Pelosi’s reckless spending, fails to secure our border & pushes us closer to the fiscal brink.

Instead, I offered a conservative alternative, which would've slashed agency spending by 29% and secured OUR border.

Congressman Maxwell Alejandro Frost-Speaker McCarthy let himself be pushed around by the most extreme faction of his party, and as a result, our people have suffered — today House Dems held the line against cuts to critical programs and on inhumane funding for the border, eventually McCarthy caved, and we stepped in to bail him out and prevent a shut down.

Ileana Garcia-The senior housing community for low-income individuals in my district is facing a grave issue as unscrupulous entities exploit the weaknesses in our consumer protection laws. These entities not only disregard the requirements but also resort to retaliatory measures against vulnerable seniors with limited incomes, bombarding them with expensive legal letters.

The situation has escalated to the point where these unscrupulous individuals are not only causing financial distress but also using it to place liens on properties and even foreclose on homes that the seniors have spent the better part of their lives paying off. Adding to the injustice, these associations blatantly disregard the transparency and best practices required, leaving the vulnerable seniors with no means to defend themselves or seek recourse because financially they can not.

Representative Fentrice Driskell-We should be focused on keeping FL families healthy. Unfortunately, the DeSantis policy of ‘if it ain’t woke don’t fix it’ is leaving hundreds of thousands of Florida’s children without health care coverage while he focuses on his own ambitions.
