Will Biden be impeached?

As the impeachment inquiry of President Joe Biden by House Republicans continues, the Democrats continue circling the wagons around him. Representative Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) spoke with MSNBC's Katie Phang, where he said the whole inquiry was masterminded by former President Donald Trump to distract from the four indictments against him.

"MAGA Republicans have shown they’re not actually interested in collecting evidence in their failing Biden impeachment inquiry. They’re just sticking to the instructions beamed down from Trump on Truth Social," tweeted Rep. Moskowitz.

Rep. Moskowitz said Trump told the GOP, "You guys have got to muddy up Joe Biden because I do not want to be the only guy with all of this stuff," referring to the two impeachments Trump suffered during his administration and the four indictments he has faced leading up to the 2024 Election.

"He has got two impeachments, he has got four indictments, he has got half of the impeachments in American history for a President. And so he has told [Republicans], "You guys have got to muddy up Joe Biden because I do not want to be the only guy with all of this stuff. And so that is what they are doing here," said Moskowitz.

Moreover, he said House Democrats would not be permitted to bring in witnesses such as Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, who engaged in a $2 billion business deal with Saudi Arabia shortly after leaving the White House, which was acknowledged by House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-OH) as shady.

Regardless, Moskowitz made one of his signature cracks when he concluded, "We are going to point out that hypocrisy out, which is why they have no credibility other than just trying to please Donald Trump so they can be invited to the sleepover at Mar-A-Lago."

Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) similarly blasted the impeachment inquiry as being orchestrated by Trump in September, which she said had "no evidence."

"I think what’s become very clear, if it wasn’t already, is that Kevin McCarthy is the CEO of the wholly owned subsidiary that the House Republican Conference has become of the Trump campaign," said Wasserman Schultz on MSNBC.

However, Florida Republicans Carlos Gimenez and Byron Donalds have both said the inquiry is uncovering damning information against Biden.

"I have no problem with an inquiry and just letting it go where it takes you. If there is nothing wrong with President Biden, you should not be afraid of anything because he did nothing wrong, and the inquiry will show he did nothing wrong. But if he did do something wrong, then if I were the President of the United States right now, I would be a little scared," said Rep. Gimenez.

"The craziest thing about the hearing is that the Democrats did not even want to talk about the evidence we brought, they just wanted to talk about everything else, which means they know this is really, really bad for Joe Biden," said Rep. Donalds.
