DC Lawmakers Mock Each Other With Actual Legislation

Shortly after freshman, New York Congressman George Santos (R) was caught in an avalanche of lies regarding his entire life history, Democratic lawmakers in Washington introduced the SANTOS Act, which stands for Stop Another Non Truthful Office Seeker. Washington at its best.

The bill targets lawmakers who knowingly disseminate false information about themselves in order to be elected.

The bill garnered many laughs, but now House Republicans have countered with their very own PELOSI Act and now Rep. Matt Gaetz’s PENCIL Act.

The PELOSI ACT bans congressional lawmakers from trading stocks and profiting from their position as elected officials, something former Speaker Nancy Pelosi is known to have done.

Rep. Gaetz’s PENCIL Act is directed at Rep. Adam Schiff.

Former President Donald Trump famously nicknamed Rep. Schiff “Pencil-Neck” over his handling of the so-called, and now debunked, “Russian collusion” narrative Congressional Democrats were pushing during Trump’s term in office.

This is the second time Gaetz fills the PENCIL Act. READ MORE

Mills has sent fellow House Republicans an actual “inert”  40mm grenade. READ MORE
