The U.S. Embargo On the U.S.

JUICE—As the self-imposed American embargo continues along the U.S. West Coast, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis held a press conference at the Port of Jacksonville welcoming those stalled container ships off the coast of California to drop off their goods in Florida.

“We have already seen ships re-route to Florida and look forward to accommodating even more,” tweeted DeSantis

But while helping alleviate the shipping problem that could affect the Holiday season seems like the correct and noble thing to do, Florida Democrats are silent on Gov. DeSantis's move.

Instead, DeSantis’s 2022 Democratic gubernatorial opponents, Nikki Fried, Charlie Crist, and Annette Taddeo, are focused on other issues that do not directly impact Floridians, let alone the rest of America.

Rep. Charlie Crist is pushing legislation in the House of Representatives. It's his job.

Sen. Annette Taddeo is still dealing with the media crush after her gubernatorial announcement, and Nikki Fried is still just bashing DeSantis.

“Florida has a Ron DeSantis problem,” tweeted Fried.

None of the three Democrats have addressed the offshore shipping crisis.

At the very least, the three should give DeSantis or anyone credit for trying to fix this pressing issue.

There are times to attack your opponent, and then there are times to acknowledge his or her achievements that benefit you and your fellow Americans.

Voters are not stupid and are paying attention.

Mirror, Mirror on the Wall, who is the Most Progressive 2022 Gubernatorial Candidates of all?

Is it Nikki Fried?

Annette Taddeo?

Charlie Crist?

Nikki Fried-Florida has a Ron DeSantis problem.

Rep. Val Demings-I wrote to my colleagues in the U.S. Senate urging them to pass the Freedom to Vote Act. Their oaths of office demand it: #DefendOurDemocracy.

Kathleen Passidomo-It is a real honor to be designated Florida’s next Senate President by the Republican Caucus. I am humbled by my colleagues’ faith in me and inspired to take on the challenge. I will fight for the Florida Dream. I will not let us down.

Gus Bilirakis-While 71% of my recently surveyed constituents support traditional infrastructure such as roads, bridges, internet connectivity + cybersecurity protections, 66% say they do not support the type of “human infrastructure” costs contained in the current infrastructure proposal.

Rep. Carlos G Smith-We need to REVERSE this trend, COVID anti-vaxx hysteria is now fueling resistance to other immunizations for our kids.

“38 counties failed to meet the 95% immunization goal for kindergartners for this past school year, and 13 missed it for 7th-graders,”

Rep. Allison Tant-It is wonderful news to share that Ruediger Elementary in Tallahassee has won a $25,000 grant from the State Farm Neighborhood Assist program. This grant will be used to build a new accessible playground

Jimmy Patronis-Looks like the IRS is willing to move their reporting requirement from a $600 to $10K threshold. Ok then. If the Biden Administration thinks moving the reporting threshold by a few thousand dollars changes anything – then he really is disconnected from normal people
