Florida Rep. Brian Mast (R), who volunteered with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) after retiring from the U.S. Army, recently stated that “The Squad” in the House had influenced their more moderate Democratic colleagues into “funneling” American “tax dollars to Hamas and forsaking” the nation of Israel after they voted against refunding the life-saving Iron Dome missile defense system.

Rep. Mast is referring to the  Democratic-led U.S. House of Representatives passing of the Iron Dome Supplemental Appropriations Act (H.R. 5323) by a huge 420-9 vote margin.

The vote clearly showed were Democratic Socialist legislators like Reps. Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, and Cori Bush stood on Israel.

“AOC and the squad have now successfully implemented their backward 'forget your friend's foreign policy into the mainstream Democrat party in Congress, funneling your tax dollars to Hamas and forsaking our ally Israel by defunding Iron Dome,” said Rep. Mast in a video release.

Mast said that the “Squad” supports the terrorist organization Hamas that has “indiscriminately” fired thousands of rockets into Israel for the sole purpose of killing as many innocent people as possible, adding that the US-Israel “jointly funded” missile defense system stops 90% of all incoming rockets fired by the Democratic Party-supported Hamas terrorists.

“They are fighting tooth and nail to implement a two-state solution,” added Mast. The so-called two-state solution would literally take a terrorist-run population and make them a country giving them a seat at the United Nations—they want to give war criminals legitimacy and a permanent launching pad for their rockets and at the same time take away Israel's ability to defend itself.

Even as some more Liberal Democrats like Reps. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Stephanie Murphy, and Ted Deutch, all have expressed unwavering support for Israel and have denounced Progressive Democrats on the issue, Mast concluded by corralling all Democrats as being anti-Israel.

“This is now the foreign policy of the Democrat Party— give to the terrorists and take from our allies.”

Are House Democrats backing Hamas?
