Death to The Cuban Regime!

DeSantis and Rubio Make First Side-by-Side Appearance

Governor Ron DeSantis and Senator Marco Rubio’s side-by-side appearance on the “Hannity” show to talk about the ongoing protests in Communist Cuba could have been a little preview of a potential 2024 Republican Presidential primary showdown.

The town hall TV event offered both men the opportunity to excoriate both the Cuban regime and the Biden administration, and its base of “radical” support for their oppression of the Cuban people and its lack of response to the protests, respectively.

Both DeSantis and Rubio let the barbs fly, with Rubio leading the way on an issue that he has lived all of his life

Remember, Cuba and Venezuela are “tied to the hip” as DeSantis stated, and Rubio has been a target for assassination by the Venezuelan regime for his opposition to that country’s Cuba-like dictatorship and human rights violations. Must-Read

“There is no US embargo against the Cuban people. The only embargo is on the Cuban regime because they own everything, every business.” —MUST READ

Marco Rubio @marcorubio-A preliminary accounting of 584 people abducted by the regime in #Cuba by @CubalexDDHH indicates:

– Only 91 of the 584 have been released

– 150 are detained in a known location

– 40 are missing & their location and condition is unknown

Ron DeSantis @GovRonDeSantis-While the damage can’t be undone, the more than $1.3 billion settlement Florida will receive will help us continue to combat the devastating effects of the nationwide opioid crisis. https://bit.ly/3znVsZy

US Rep Kathy Castor @USRepKCastor-Dear Gov DeSantis, everything is NOT “fine” in #TampaBay! Years of mismanagement by the state + catering to polluters = the worst #RedTide of our lifetimes and environmental devastation to fish and sea life. It’s not just our ecosystem and economy at risk, but our way of life.

Annette Taddeo (She/Her/Ella) @Annette_Taddeo-“We need to pressure other countries into understanding that Cuba isn’t to be romanticized.”, said @SenatorTaddeo The repressive Cuban gov shut off the internet bc they don’t want you to see the 400 pple they’ve kidnapped or the child army they’re creating.” #SOSCuba

Lauren Book @LeaderBookFL-Spent the morning with some of my favorite people @HoneyChildTracy @iamzo33 & the kids from the Overtown Youth Center! TY @senpizzo @valoupis & Rep. Bush for fighting to secure $1M in the State Budget for @OYCMiami & their transformational work w at-risk youth in Miami

Rick Scott @SenRickScott-It’s time to end Washington’s reckless spending spree & take control of America’s nearly $30 TRILLION debt. I’m urging every member of Congress to stand with me & refuse to increase the debt ceiling unless we enact true reform to government spending.
