“#DondeEstaBiden” OR “AdondeEstaBiden”

Translation: Where is Biden”

That is the Twitter hashtag that many pro-Cuban protestors like Sen. Rick Scott are using everything they take a pound of flesh from President Joe Biden over. His perceived lax response to the protests in Cuba, and the persecution of the protestors by the Cuban regime.

Sen. Scott's latest snipe at Biden is over the reporting that Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel is now targeting “religious leaders” and “destroying any shred of religious freedom in Cuba.”

President Biden’s response can be categorized as “lazy,” as Senator Marco Rubio called it.

To Biden’s credit, he has denounced the regime overall but is now having the State Department review its remittances policy—the first step to normalizing relations with Communist Cuba.

That’s not good, and Biden will surely receive a tidal wave of criticism from Scott, Rubio, Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart, and other pro-Democracy members of the U.S. Congress.

Wait for it…

“They are not asking for remittances,” said Rep. Diaz-Balart during a floor speech on Monday.

“The Cuban people are not out on the streets risking their lives for remittances…They’re risking it all for FREEDOM! President Biden must show leadership and solidarity with the Cuban people.”- Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart

Again, #DondeEstaBiden on this issue? Is he still trying to get up out of bed, or is he just dragging his feet? READ MORE

Corruption Alleged at the Highest Levels at the Republican Party of Florida

The Floridian can now confirm that FDLE and a local state prosecutor are looking into an allegation of public corruption by 1 or 2 members of the Republican Party of Florida.

This inquiry may or may not include the recent accusation made against Chairman Joe Gruters. Criminal charges could be pending as early as this week.

In an effort not to compromise the investigation, this is all we will say about the matter until advised otherwise. Stay tuned.

U.S. Rep. Stephanie Murphy @RepStephMurphy=Pleased to announce that the House Appropriations Committee has approved 9 of my projects, totaling nearly $5 million, to improve public safety, education, housing, health, and the environment in Central Florida.

Rep. Ted Deutch @RepTedDeutch-We can't trade one crisis for another. Now is the time to take action on climate change & build back better by building back greener! My bill, the Energy Innovation & Carbon Dividend Act, would put a price on carbon & encourage investments in green energy & infrastructure.

Gus Bilirakis @RepGusBilirakis-The June jobs report brought further proof that our national economy is headed in the wrong direction. More than 9.5 MILLION Americans remain unemployed and labor force participation remains below the pre-COVID rate. We can and must do better. #BidensEconomicCrisis
