Charlie Crist, Today's Karma Chameleon?

Former Republican Governor and current Rep. Charlie Crist is by far the best retail politician to ever walk across the waters of the Everglades and set foot on Florida’s sandy beaches.

Do you disagree?

Of course, you don’t.

The highly-likable Rep. Crist never turns it off. He is always campaigning.

Whether as a hardcore “chain gang” and “pro-gun, pro-choice” Republican, to an Independent, and finally to a staunch Democrat, Crist has always been a fixture in Florida Politics.

Now (again) Republicans are branding him the “Joe Biden of Florida.” Before he was the Ronald Reagan of Florida, then the Barack Obama of Florida, and now he’s the “Joe Biden of Florida.”

Charlie is Florida. The epitome of the Florida Man. READ MORE

The Russian Threat

We here at The Floridian have been sounding this alarm for months, years: Russia is a huge threat to America.

Russia's move into Latin America (outside of Cuba) is a direct threat to the Western Hemisphere. Putin is raising his Iron Curtain.

But Americans are finally getting it. Democrats like Rep.Stephanie Murphy have all been pointing to Russian threat, as have Reps. Michael Waltz, Byron Donalds, and Brian Mast. READ MORE

The Campaign Trail...

State Rep. Anthony Sabatini is pushing out a poll that shows him 7 points ahead of combat veteran Cory Mills. A Recent RPOF poll shows Mills leading Sabatini by 2, while another poll shows Mills leading by as many as 9 points.

This 8-person GOP primary race has become one of the ugliest in the nation. Not only have candidates taken shots at one another on stage, but campaign signs have been vandalized and stolen, campaign workers have been intimidated, and there has even been an arrest for Burglary with Assault.

Fun times.

Republican frontrunner in FL CD 13 Anna Paulina Luna has been mixing it up with Democrat Eric Lynn. A recent poll shows the two in a virtual tie, but Lynn is pushing out his own poll (no data backing it) that shows he is up by 10-points.

Meanwhile, in Broward County, Jared Moskowitz could be on a winning path to Congress. Moskowitz has more cash than anyone else in the race, but a recent loss in a straw poll to Ben Sorensen could make him reevaluate his current campaign position.

Squeezers

Rep. Frederica Wilson-Today, I’ll vote to protect #EqualMarriage and for the Respect for Marriage Act, which enshrines marriage equality and prevents this radical court from overturning every American’s right to same-sex and interracial marriage.

Rep. Brian Mast-#OnThisDay in 2021, @POTUS claimed that inflation would be “temporary.” He’s yet to even apologize for gaslighting the American people, let alone take meaningful action to lower prices on the goods that families depend on.

US Rep Kathy Castor-All Americans deserve the right to marry who they love and live without fear that their lives will be upended through a rollback of rights.

We just passed bipartisan legislation to provide critical protections for same-sex &interracial marriages - now it's the Senate's turn.
