Charlie Crist, Florida’s Not-so-Nice guy
He doesn’t forget a face or name, and he is quick to give you a hug when you see him, but it appears that Rep. Charlie Crist, who is running for governor again for the 3rd time, has become a meanie. Reaching into the down and dirty playbook of his political party (Democrat), Crist has come out to insult Republican voters that support Gov. Ron DeSantis by calling them “toothless.”
It’s not like Rep. Crist to do so, but considering that he has been seen hanging out with one of Florida’s biggest racists and gastro-challenged, Progressive blogger Peter Schorsch, aka, “Jabba the Hut” or “The Hamburglar,” his little mean streak kinda makes sense.
Crist is a nice guy, but why force this? Was it to score points with the Progressive base of the Democratic Party?
DeSantis Likes His Eggs
Gov. DeSantis has come out in support of Egg farmer and Senate President Wilton Simpson’s Agriculture Commissioner’s candidacy, putting to bed a lot of speculation that ‘Big Ron’ could support Chuck Nadd instead because of some issues he had with Simpson during the recently-concluded legislative session.
