Bipartisanship Grows in Divided US Congress

After losing their majority in the House of Representatives, House Democrats have no choice now but to work with their Republican counterparts.

While there is still a great divide between Democrats in Republicans in Congress, more and more Democrats are now teaming up with Republicans to tackle issues that both sides can get behind, like combatting human trafficking.

Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick becomes the latest Florida Democrat, joining Reps. Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Jared Moskowitz, in cosponsoring legislation with House Republicans. READ MORE

Countdown to DeSantis’s Presidential Announcement

It’s happening but no one really knows when. It’s been reported by sources that Gov. DeSantis will make the announcement next week in his hometown of Dunedin, Florida.

Is there a sense of urgency for DeSantis to announce his candidacy before June or July?

It appears so. Polls show former President Donald Trump’s popularity surging and DeSantis waning.

DeSantis will get a bump once he announces, but like Trump’s recent bump, how long will it last?

This primary race between Trump and DeSantis will be brutal. Brutal. Stay tuned…
