After Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) made his weekend trip to Iowa in which he spoke at a multitude of events while former President Donald Trump (R) stayed home due to weather concerns, Americans around the country are looking up into the nighttime atmosphere and can now see the Bat-Signal that is calling Gov. DeSantis to jump in the race. The prominent endorsements he's receiving provide the cloudy sky that allows the silhouette to be seen in the dark.

The only question now is whether he will answer the call. All the signs indicate that he will.

Every day it appears Gov. DeSantis is making more appearances in different states and racking up more endorsements as he inches closer to a Presidential bid in the coming days.

Not only did he receive endorsements from Iowa’s State Senate President Amy Sinclair (R-IA) and House Majority Leader Matt Windschitl (R-IA) as well as 37 other Iowa state legislators, but DeSantis also received nods from Florida House Speaker Paul Renner (R-FL) and Senate President Kathleen Passidomo (R-FL).

Senate President Passidomo stood by in concurrence as Speaker Renner announced their endorsements.

He stated that his “total, full support for Ron DeSantis, our greatest Governor,” stems from his ability to hold three different leadership qualities that allow him to be a “great leader.”

“Let me tell you why. There are three qualities of a great leader: you have to have integrity, principles, and courage. You can be a leader without one of those, but you can’t be a great leader without all of those.”

DeSantis received endorsements from other Florida state legislators as well.

"Governor Ron DeSantis has proven time and time again to be a steadfast leader - for families, for children, for small businesses and for Americans. His courage to never back down and lead with conviction has reverberated throughout the nation, setting the highest bar and ushering a new era of leadership. He fights for families, cuts taxes, puts parents in the driver’s seat of their child’s education and champions the environment. I am proud to support Governor Ron DeSantis for President,” stated State Senator Jim Boyd (R-FL).

Moreover, State Representative Sam Garrison (R-FL) mentioned that DeSantis’ record “speaks for itself.”

“Our country demands a President who leads with conviction, ability, and integrity. Ron DeSantis checks all these boxes and more. His record in Florida speaks for itself and has made our state the envy of the nation. His Naval service, courage under withering political fire, and unshakable devotion to Casey and his family show his true mettle. Ron DeSantis is the real deal, and I’m proud to endorse him for President of the United States of America.”

Gov. DeSantis is expected to announce his candidacy in the coming weeks. While these endorsements in the Republican-led state legislature were expected, the Florida Governor will look to capitalize on the momentum he’s created since his historic landslide victory in November.

Republican political strategist Melissa Stone, appears to be all in with Team DeSantis, questioning the DeSantis naysayers and their opinions on whether he can win the presidential primary race in 2024.

“Ron DeSantis is the Commander-in-Chief in the War Against Woke. That is what Republican voters are cheering for right now in the US. Let’s remember that the same ‘smart people in Washington’ doubting DeSantis’ ability to win a race that he has not even entered yet were the same people who said Trump could never win back in 2016," said Stone.
