Florida Lawmakers Come Together to Show Solidarity with Israel

Speaker Paul Renner and Senate President Kathleen Passidomo called a press conference on Wednesday, inviting legislators from both sides of the aisle to express their support for Israel after the attack it endured over a week ago.

The details of the press conference were kept under wraps for obvious security reasons.

Rep. Fine, who has been the loudest voice of support for Israel, and who has admonished pro-Hamas supporters and national legislators, was surrounded by a security detail he normally doesn't receive.

Rep. Fine and Senator Lauren Book, both Jewish-Americans, gave strong and passionate addresses.
