As the war in Israel enters its second week, the overwhelming majority of lawmakers and candidates for elected office in the U.S. have expressed their unwavering support for Israel’s right to defend itself after the immeasurable terrorist attack by Hamas that left 1,300 Israelis, Americans, and other foreign nations, dead. Outside of what the infamous pro-Palestinian “Squad” in the House of Representatives and Hamas sympathizers around the country are espousing, very few politicians are accusing the Israeli government of being corrupt, but not Gabrielle Fox.

Fox is running as a Republican in the soon-to-be contentious primary race for Florida’s State House District 94.

Two days after the Hamas terrorist group’s attack on Israel, Fox said that the Palestinian people were not “synonymous with the corrupt Hamas terrorists,” adding her concern over the calls for violence against both Palestinians, calling them “human beings” that are “totally kind and loving.”

But while Fox does make a valid point about differentiating Palestinians from Hamas terrorists, she also draws the same comparison with Israelis and their government, which is headed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“The people in Israel are NOT synonymous with the corrupt Israeli government,” stated Fox.

Fox calling the Israeli government “corrupt” is outside the support for Israel from what Gov. Ron DeSantis, Senator Marco Rubio, and Reps. Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Jared Moskowitz, have been saying since the attack.

One of Fox’s primary opponents, Meg Weinberger expressed her solidarity with Israel in a post on her Instagram account.

“As Americans, we must support Israel’s right to defend itself and their sovereignty. The terrorists have declared war on all of us,” stated Weinberger.

Gov. DeSantis has recently authorized planes to fly to Israel to drop off much-needed supplies and to pick up stranded Floridians.

The race to replace outgoing Rep. Rick Roth in District 94 could begin to narrow in the coming months.

The aforementioned Fox has only been able to raise $5,248.16, of which about. $1,600 has come in the form of a personal loan she made to her campaign.

Weinberger leads the pack in fundraising with $101,880 raised, followed by Anthony Aguirre with $77,125, then Christian Acosta with $27,758, and lastly Jon Carter, who has only raised $13,270.
