After President Joe Biden (D) addressed the nation following the terrorist attack on Israel committed by Hamas which left over 900 Israelis dead and thousands injured, Representative Brian Mast (R-FL) called some of the President’s statements “lackluster” and “moronic.”

Floridian publisher Javier Manjarrés interviewed the Florida congressman, asking him what he thought of the President’s response including his decision to cut funding to Gaza.

“Yes, there should’ve never been – I’ve never been in support of the funding to Gaza to begin with. I’ve never been a supporter of the two-state solution to begin with, and to go beyond that, the President’s reaction to this has been, as we could expect, lackluster,” stated Rep. Mast.

“And I think even just in his remarks just now, he said one of the most surprising things to the American people: He said they sent the Ford Carrier Battle Group over there, but it was not for Hamas, it was to deter foreign threats. That to me just seems moronic to say that you sent over a carrier battle group, some of our greatest capabilities; not for our hostages, not for retribution for our debt, but for just in case of another state actor. That seems to be lackluster,” said Rep. Mast.

This is a developing story.
