Could the events in Israel over the weekend happen here in the United States? Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) warned it was possible thanks to the laxity at which the Biden Administration has handled our southern border in a recent appearance on Fox News's Jesse Watters Primetime.

Host Jesse Watters began by asking if border policies will see any real change in light of the Hamas attack, to which Rep. Luna said the Administration "Is not serious enough," pointing out the hypocrisy in how building a border wall was "racist and xenophobic" until recently.

Moreover, because the cartels are possibly working alongside terrorist organizations, a future attack "is very likely."

"We know that even just in the last year up until recently if you wanted border security, they called you a racist and xenophobic. But now, we know that Joe Biden has started construction on some portions of our southern border. But you mentioned a good point. These cartels are indeed working from different reports we are seeing with these terrorist organizations. And the fact is, is that the likelihood of a terrorist attack here on U.S. territory, especially because so many people have slipped through our southern border, is very likely, and that is concerning," said Rep. Luna.

Watters asked if Congress had received specific details on border crossers who are on the terror watchlist, to which Luna said "Absolutely," criticizing the Democratic Party for pushing open borders as a means of garnering Hispanic and Latino electoral support.

"We have reports that there have been individuals tied to the [Communist Party of China] coming in from Communist China as well as parts of Africa. But it is interesting that the Biden Administration and the Democrat machine really pushed an open border message in an effort to target Hispanic Americans. They lied to the American people saying that this was just people that wanted to come here and work. The fact is: the people coming here, especially the people on that watchlist, are not here to be our friends, as you saw with footage coming out of Iran. They are chanting "Death to America, Death to Israel," and what we are seeing in Israel could very well happen here in the United States," Luna concluded.

Before the second Republican primary debate, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) similarly warned a terrorist attack could be perpetrated by someone who had crossed the border.
