Will Abortion Define the 2024 Presidential Election?
With the clock ticking down to his 2024 presidential announcement, Gov. Ron DeSantis needs to solidify the base of support from Conservatives, and the Republican Party as a whole. This week, Gov. DeSantis firmed up his position on abortion, telling radio show host Jenna Ellis that he was proud of signing the controversial 6-week abortion ban bill earlier this year.
An official announcement is expected later this week.

Debt Ceiling Debacle Looms?
Congressional Republicans and Democrats are at a stalemate over the debt ceiling.
This was to be expected as the Biden administration and House Republicans both signaled that it would take a heavy lift to get them to change their stance on the issue.
Lawmakers from both sides of the aisle, appear frustrated with the impasse, including Florida Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D), who believes that if the U.S. defaults on its debt, “China wins.” READ MORE
