With Halloween behind us, the 2022 midterm election is a week away and Democrats are pulling out all the stop and scary talking points in hopes to dissuade any remaining undecided voters to go out and support their candidates. From the looks of it, election night (Fright Night) is going to be another scary encounter for Florida Democrats.
The numbers just don’t appear to be there for Democrats, and it looks as if many have already begun to concede defeat.
President Joe Biden is coming down to campaign for Charlie Crist and Rep. Val Demings, which could excite Democrats (not Independents), while President Donald Trump will rally with Senator Marco Rubio on November 6 in Miami-Dade.
Expected a huge crowd to see President Trump and Sen. Rubio.
Republicans like Rubio and Gov. Ron DeSantis have been rallying big crowds around the state, a testament to the excitement behind their respective campaigns.
Florida Democrats, however, have had nothing more than “low energy” events, which they have described as being many small, intimate gatherings of supporters.
But the problem Democrats have is messaging.
It’s the same old failed message from 2022, and have now coupled that message with a devoted pro-abortion and ‘Republicans are racists’ narrative, it’s lights out for them.
Democrats cannot pivot to the one issue that is of concern to all Americans–THE ECONOMY.
They just don’t have an argument for it. They can try to dismiss the Republican narrative that it's Bidenflation that is causing the price of eggs, gas, meat, and just about everything else, to go up, but Americans know better.
Give Democrats credit for trying to save their sinking ship, but it's too late. The movie Titanic comes to mind.
The hotly contested congressional race (cage match) between Republican Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar and Democratic State Sen. Annette Taddeo, had gotten downright ugly, as expected.
Salazar is being accused of dodging debates and sympathizing with Fidel Castro and Nicolas Maduro.
Taddeo is being accused of supporting the presidency of the new Brazilian President Lula for not denouncing his Leftist ways.
Charlie Crist-Floridians are casting their ballots NOW. A handful of votes could determine this election, so we need to reach every single voter before it’s too late.
Val Demings-It seems that Marco Rubio needs to be reminded that above all else, our duty as elected officials and as leaders is to serve the people of Florida, not party bosses.
