The Palm Beach Post has endorsed Florida Rep. Charlie Crist (D) for Governor. Taking to Twitter to announce the endorsement, Crist posted a picture of a Palm Beach Post Editorial announcing its support.

The editorial, citing numerous concerns that the state is dealing with, argued that Crist is the right person to respond to these concerns.
“Major hurricane damage, a property insurance market hanging by a thread, ever increasing gas, grocery and utility prices in a state with a dearth of affordable housing – Florida faces challenges that demand the response of an experienced chief executive,” reads the editorial. The news source goes on to explain that they believe Crist is the person for the job as a "congressman and former governor."
"Unlike the current occupant, Crist used the levers of state government to bring people together to address challenges, not to bluster, consolidate power and campaign for higher office," added the Palm Beach Post.
In a statement, Crist thanked the Palm Beach Post for their endorsements, saying that "Floridians are ready to unite, protect a woman's right to choose, and make Florida more affordable - and in 16 days, we'll do just that."
Crist also commented on rumors that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) is gearing up for a 2024 presidential campaign, which the Palm Beach Post referenced in their endorsement. Although DeSantis has not confirmed if he has the White House in his sights, support for DeSantis has increased among Republicans in the event that he does decide to run.

During an interview with CNN's Jake Tapper, former Governor of Florida Jeb Bush (R) commented on DeSantis launching a presidential run, calling him a "formidable" candidate.
"The reason why I'm a Ron DeSantis fan is that he has governed effectively in the state that I love," said Bush, expressing that DeSantis has "been a really good governor."
