DeSantis Melts Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream in Florida

JUICE—After the Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream maker and its stakeholder, Unilever, decided to pull their products from a region in Israel, Gov. Ron DeSantis acted swiftly to begin the process of banning the ice cream maker from possibly selling in Florida.

Rumor in Tallahassee, Washington, and in Punta Gorda, is that DeSantis personally doesn’t care for Ben & Jerry’s, and prefers him some vanilla-flavored Breyer’s brand ice cream. READ MORE

What’s the Point of This?

A former reporter for the Progressive and biased “news outlet” The Advocate, Grace Toohey, took it upon herself to dig around and work to search for the names and stories of all the Florida prisoners who have died of COVID. Why?

Does it matter? Of course, it does if you have a political agenda.

All of the deaths that have been attributed to COVID are tragic, but Toohey’s story for the Orlando Sentinel focuses on this political issue Democrats have championed.

During the pandemic, Democrats all but called for all the jails to be emptied in fear that the inmates could catch the deadly disease.

Orlando’s Progressive Rep. Anna Eskamani tweeted her support of the story. Of course, she did.

So much for showing respect and privacy for those individuals who died from the disease. Sick.

As State Senator Shevrin Jones recently stated, "Nothing will bring you greater peace than minding your own business!"

Conservative State Rep. Anthony Sabatini, who just so happens to be running for Congress against Rep. Stephanie Murphy, has filed legislation to prevent Florida businesses from hiring illegal aliens. No Mas Tequila! READ MORE

Governor's Race 2022

With AG Commissioner Nikki Fried and Rep. Charlie Crist all in to challenge Gov. DeSantis, what about State Senator Annette Tadeo (D). Where is she? Sen. Taddeo told us that she was seriously considering the move, but that was a couple of months ago. Stay tuned for an update.

Rick Scott @SenRickScott-This year's NDAA has big wins for FL & our national security:

• $777.9B in defense spending

• 2.7% pay raise for military members

• Support for F-35 squadrons at @TeamTyndall AFB

Shevrin “Shev” Jones @ShevrinJones-Nothing will bring you greater peace than minding your own business!

Rep. Ted Deutch @RepTedDeutch-The withdrawal of U.S. forces from Afghanistan has placed thousands of our Afghan partners in danger of retribution. We can't abandon them now. The ALLIES Act will authorize additional SIVs and remove unnecessary hurdles so our partners can find safe haven. #TakeThemToo

U.S. Rep. Stephanie Murphy @RepStephMurphy-Our Afghans partners stood shoulder-to-shoulder with our troops. Today I was proud to vote YES on the ALLIES Act to keep these brave men and women safe from retribution, keep the promises we made, and #TakeThemToo.

Rep. Mike Waltz @michaelgwaltz-This is very good news. Better late than never. Where is the plan to get 35,000 Afghans out of the country while the Taliban is on the march?

Nikki Fried @NikkiFried-Ron DeSantis is the problem.
