Abortion vs Life

The abortion debate continues to rage on (it always does during an election year) as Democrats are convinced that Roe. Vs. Wade will be abolished in the coming weeks or months, and states like Florida will then ban abortions at the state level.

Gov. DeSantis has not committed to banning abortions at the state level but has said he would look at the SCOTUS ruling if it ever came to pass.

Democrats like Reps. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, state legislators, Sens. Lauren Book, Jason Pizzo, Shevrin Jones, and state Reps. Michael Grieco and Robin Bartleman, have all vowed to keep the pressure on the Republican-led state legislature if the SCOTUS ruling against abortion comes down.

Some of these same Democratic lawmakers believe DeSantis will call a special session to ban abortions.
