Representative Daniel Webster (R-FL) wrote an open letter to the people of Florida, urging Congress to pass the so-called "Big Beautiful Bill" so that President Donald Trump can sign it into law, stating, "We are committed to seeing this bill become law on behalf of all Floridians."

"This is a pivotal time in our state as the U.S. Congress debates passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act to grow our economy, create jobs, and prevent the largest tax hike in American history," Rep. Webster's letter began, adding, "We write to express our unified support for the One Big Beautiful Bill Act and urge Congress to quickly send it to President Trump's desk to be signed into law."

Rep. Webster further described the tax benefits included in the bill, which include increased take-home pay and child tax credits, as well as tax cuts for small businesses and incentives for manufacturers to establish new factories in the United States, thereby providing employment opportunities for thousands of Americans.

"On top of growing Florida's economy, our One Big Beautiful Bill Act will make Florida safe again," the Florida Congressman's letter continued. "By providing billions of dollars in new funding to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the U.S. Coast Guard, our bill will expedite the removal of criminal illegal aliens and ensure the safety of all Floridians."

Webster specifically noted that the number of ICE and Border Patrol agents, along with immigration judges, is expected to expand under the Big Beautiful Bill, thereby enhancing the ability of President Trump to enact his mass deportation agenda.

Finally, Webster touched upon the bill's dedication to reforming Medicaid by rooting out waste, fraud, abuse and tightening work requirements that enable it, saying, "Critics of the bill's Medicaid fixes fail to mention the millions of able-bodied adults who access Medicaid while refusing to work," and thus "The One Big Beautiful Bill Act institutes common-sense work requirements that will increase labor participation and reserve Medicaid dollars for those who need them most: the elderly, pregnant women, disabled Americans, and needy children."

"The One Big Beautiful Bill Act will lower taxes for hardworking families, seniors, and small businesses, protect Medicaid, and strengthen America's border security," the letter concluded.
