Vicki Lopez Surpasses $150K in Campaign Fundraising

Long time political activist, Vicki Lopez (R-FL), is running for state Senate's District 38 seat and has just passed a huge milestone by garnering over $150,000 in campaign fundraising.

Lopez currently runs  Miami-based VLL Consulting and is a former member of the Lee County Commission and served in state-appointed roles in the Florida Senate under Governors Jeb Bush, Charlie Crist, and Rick Scott.

In addition to specializing in education, prisoner reentry, criminal justice reform, and juvenile justice reform, Lopez has also served in numerous capacities within the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce.

Now, Lopez is pursuing a Senate seat of her own.  District 38 includes Key Biscayne, Coconut Grove, South Miami, Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay, and Cutler Bay. The University of Miami and Homestead Air Reserve Base are contained within the district.

Today, the Vicki Lopez campaign announced posting over $150,000 in campaign fundraising since she entered the race in Senate District 38. $120,000 which is in campaign dollars and $30,000 in committee fundraising.

"I'm so happy to have received strong support from throughout the district," said candidate Vicki Lopez. "We all know this year is a great opportunity to restore common sense principles throughout the districts of Miami-Dade County. It will be for the good of all our communities to have elected officials dedicated to the constituents, rather than to power politics in Tallahassee."
