DeSantis Campaign Continues to Leak, Trump No-Show in Iowa
Republican voters were showered with tons of fodder from the candidates in the 2024 presidential primary election during two political gatherings, one in Iowa, and the other in West Palm Beach.
Former President Donald Trump and Vivek Ramaswamy were both in attendance at the Turning Point USA Action summit in Florida, while Gov. Ron DeSantis, Sen. Tim Scott, VP Mike Pence, Nikki Haley, and Ramaswamy also took in the Family Leader Summit in the Buckeye State...
President Trump skipped the faith-based summit and Gov. DeSantis confirmed he would not be attending the TPUSA event.
DeSantis supporters and "influencers" crucified Trump for skipping out of the Family Leader Summit, while Trump supporters dismissed DeSantis's refusal to go to TPUSA because he was scared.
TPUSA has always been considered a Trump-friendly event, so DeSantis probably skipped it to avoid getting booed. Maybe.
Meanwhile, just as both events were ending, news broke that DeSantis had to fire around a dozen members of his staff due to budgetary issues, even though Team DeSantis was out promoting the fact that he outraised everyone in the field of GOP presidential candidates.
The news story was written as a result of one of those non-existent "leaks" DeSantis and his team say do not exist.
The leaker appears to be someone within the presidential campaign, possibly the same person that leaked to The Floridian that Christina Pushaw was "reprimanded" by DeSantis and was taking more of a backseat driver role for the campaign.
There are always leaks in politics, even in DeSantis's world. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
