Congressman Greg Steube (R-FL) has introduced a new resolution to the House of Representatives condemning the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Simultaneously, his resolution urges President Joe Biden (D) and his administration to not rejoin the institution, citing the organization’s anti-United States and anti-Israel bias.

In 2011, the U.S. and Israel cut all funding to UNESCO following their decision to allow Palestine to join as a full member. Former President Donald Trump (R) severed ties with the group in 2017.

“The Biden administration’s plan to pay 600 million dollars in back dues to this corrupt organization is the opposite of America First policy. Both fiscally and morally, the Biden administration is making a grave mistake in choosing to rejoin UNESCO,” said Rep. Steube.

He would go on to mention, “The mismanaged organization has a long history of anti-United States bias, anti-Israel bias, and has honored countries that consistently violate human rights. This critical resolution recognizes that the U.S. was right to withdraw from UNESCO and recognizes that the organization should not receive U.S. taxpayer funding.”

Moreover, Rep. Steube made headlines when he deemed President Biden’s son, Hunter, the “fall guy” for the recent scandals involving his connections to foreign governments, such as China and Ukraine.

"Yeah, Hunter Biden was the fall guy for Joe in doing all the business deals because Joe Biden could not be the face of it," Steube alleged.

Steube added there were multiple forms of evidence to support his theory, such as correspondence and financial documents.

"I mean, you have witness testimony, you have text message testimony, you now have financial documents that solidify these transactions occurred from foreign entities to the Biden family. There is so much evidence here," Steube continued.

Earlier in June, House Republicans publicized an FBI confidential source's report alleging President Biden and Hunter took $5 million each from Ukrainian energy company Burisma to throw off investigations into the company, funneled through "multiple bank accounts."

Shortly after, an apparent WhatsApp correspondence between Hunter and Chinese businessman Raymond Zhao from 2017 surfaced where Hunter used Joe's position as Vice President as leverage for a favorable business deal.

Some Republicans, such as Representative Carlos Gimenez (R-FL) believe that these findings are “just the tip of the spear, just the very tip of the iceberg, and when you dig into that iceberg, in the middle of it is Joe Biden."
