Former President Donald Trump (R) received an incredibly warm welcome while attending Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 290 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

UFC fans are familiar with President Trump as he has been connected to the MMA franchise almost since its inception.

While Florida Governor and presidential nominee Ron DeSantis (R-FL) has unreservedly hauled in more campaign funds than President Trump (nearly five times as much), the polls and the visual excitement from the American electorate are hard to deny.

Since public fighting in arenas and stadiums has been around, fighters have always had walk-in entrances that usually brought cheers or jeers. President Trump received cheers. A lot of them.

Moreover, he even received respect from some of the athletes as well. When this interaction was displayed throughout the arena, it brought forth even more applause.

In the latest Real Clear Politics average of polls. Trump holds a 32-point advantage over Gov. DeSantis for the Republican nomination.

At his rally in Las Vegas, Trump addressed the social issues that the DeSantis campaign has almost entirely focused on.

“We’re going to deport the criminal, illegal aliens that have come into our country. We’re going to obliterate the deep state. We were doing a good job, I fired [Former FBI Director James Comey]. I fired that sleazebag Comey. We got rid of him. He was bad news very early on,” stated the former President.

He would go on to mention that he has a new nickname for former Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton (D) because someone else needs to use her old nickname.

“We call her beautiful Hillary now. Changed her name because she’s a beautiful woman. We call her beautiful Hillary, you know why? Because I’m using the word crooked – I don’t like using the same word for two people – we’re using the same word for crooked for Joe Biden because Joe Biden is the most crooked president in the history of our country by a factor of hundreds. He’s a crook.”

He finally pressed on social issues again, mentioning a plan to get away from Critical Race Theory and “transgender ideology.”

“We’re gonna end all of the things you see and ban critical race theory and transgender ideology. From our schools, from our universities, we’re banning it. What they do is so horrible. And you know, one of the things you have to say before anybody: we’re not going to end men joining women’s teams. No more men in women’s sports,” said Trump.

Trump will look to maintain the momentum going into the first Republican primary debate in August, should he decide to attend.
