Special Session is Over

The Senate has sent over their map to the Florida House as Senators scrambled to get out of Dodge, many jumping in their cars and making towards I-10, while those residing in the Miami Boogie Down had to wait for the 7:30 pm American Airlines flight down to the People’s Republic of Miami. The House should be done at around noon on Thursday, marking the end of the special session.

The approved map will then head over to Gov. DeSantis’s desk where he will sign off on the measure.

Florida Democrats deserve a little credit for their effort to push back against DeSantis and Republican legislators.

Rep. Angie Dixon and others called DeSantis a racist as they accused him of wanting to snuff out Black congressional districts with his special session.

Rep. Randy Fine (R), told The Floridian that Rep. Nixon was an “idiot” for calling the Governor a racist.

“They think we are all racist,” said Rep. Fine. “Nixon is an idiot, only an idiot would say using racism to redistrict is good.”

Other Republican legislators agreed with Fine. Stay tuned for that post…

Charlie Crist

Rep. Charlie Crist, who is running for governor of Florida, was in Tallahassee his week doing what he does best—pressing the flesh and kissing ass.

Rep. Crist made the rounds and concluded his day on Wednesday by visiting the Florida Education Association (Teacher's union).

After Republican Party Chair of Chairs Evan Power snapped a picture of the "Crist for Governor" yard sign a staffer placed outside the event, staffers quickly removed it.

It will be a "heavy lift" for Crist's campaign to defeat DeSantis later this year. Crist's Tallahassee visit was being "weighed down" by Progressive blogger Peter Schorsch we notice dragging his SIZE 62 waistline around Adams St., waiting around for Crist's event to conclude.

The Mouse Chose the Wrong Governor to Mess With

Gov. DeSantis is not afraid to take on President Biden, the Progressive Squad, and any Democrat, let alone some mouse in Central Florida.
