Mask Mandates are Coming
JUICE—With COVID-19 virus cases surging across the nation, Democrats are now beginning to make the case for mask mandates. President Joe Biden is strongly hinting at the mandate, as are progressives like State Rep. Anna Eskamani, who recently posted a comment from a mother in Orlando whose three kids want to return to school safely in the fall.
Rep. Eskamani's posting is in response to an Orlando Sentinel story based on the concerns of a few parents who support a mask mandate.
Republicans are pushing back at the mask mandates, saying that Democrats want to live in a perpetual pandemic for political expediency.
All this comes as the CDC released a recommendation that all vaccinated Americans should mask up if they are in a closed quarter environment.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has already vowed to keep Florida maskless, but local Democratic leadership could eventually follow the federal government's lead if the mandate comes down.

Republicans continue expressing their support for the Cuban people, holding rallies in Washington to help bring attention to the plight of the protestors and millions of victims on the island of Cuba.
This past Tuesday, the ACU put on an event on the lawn of the U.S. Capitol to do just that.
Everyone from Sen. Rick Scott to Reps. Mario Diaz-Balart and Kat Cammack, were in attendance to show their support. Rep. Cammack went as far as to question President Biden’s “moral compass” on the issue. READ MORE
Cuban-American Mercedes Schlapp, whose father was failed in Cuba and later immigrated to the U.S. doesn’t believe Biden has done enough. And while she doesn’t believe that military action is necessary, Schlapp believes that more can be done, but Biden is dragging his feet. READ MORE
