House passes Venezuelan Temporary Protective Status (TPS)
By a vote of 268-154, the U.S. House of Representatives has failed to pass Rep. Darren Soto’s Venezuela TPS Act (H.R. 459), a bill that would have given Venezuelan nationals Temporary Protected Status (TPS).

The Trump administrations recent decision to ban cruises to Cuba was predicated on the Cuban government’s continued role in destabilizing the Western Hemisphere, and supporting anti-Democratic and lawless countries like Nicolas Maduro’s Venezuela, and Daniel Ortega’s Nicaragua.
