Did the Abortion Issue Give Democrats new Political Life?

As former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin once said, “You betcha!” Will DeSantis ban abortions in Florida?

With the national economy spiraling down the proverbial political toilet, and America looking more like lunch meat to its adversaries and enemies around the world, it looked as if Democrats were dead on arrival this election cycle.

Now, the leaked Supreme Court opinion appears to have emboldened Democrats across Florida, many of them warning (campaigning on) that if the Supreme Court strikes down Roe vs. Wade, the abortion decision will then be left to Gov. Ron DeSantis, who is arguably one of the most pro-life governors in the state’s history.

Gov. DeSantis has (3) little whippersnappers at home.

Democrats say that DeSantis will call the Republican-led legislature into a special session and ask them to introduce legislation to ban abortions. DeSantis will then sign that bill into law.

DeSantis has now solidified that argument, sort of, but not really. READ MORE

Rep. Carlos G Smith-Proud to be a part of the rebel alliance in Tallahassee!! Everyday we’re standing up to the GOP empire which wants absolute control and destroys everything in its path to consolidate power so it can rule the galaxy.

Senator Lori Berman-Today, I drafted legislation to codify #RoeVWade in Florida. It’s the same bill I sponsored last session, but all the more necessary today. Democrats are ready to protect the freedom of women in Florida from rightwing radicals who want to take us back to 1960.

State Senator Tina Polsky-They do not! I proposed an amendment to the FL 15-week ban and it was voted down by the Republican majority. It’s about pro-birth, not pro-life. And it’s about controlling women bc the men have no responsibility though they caused it

Michael Grieco-For the 1000s of u who have been blocked by @IleanaGarciaUSA & all of us who r prevented from commenting on her tweets, here is a screenshot of today’s lunacy referencing last week’s lunacy claiming that human trafficking rape victims should be forced to carry pregnancy to term.

Rep. Val Demings-The one millionth person who lost their life is as equally tragic as the person before them. Every single person who died mattered. They were our friends, children, parents, and grandparents.

US Rep Kathy Castor-Thanks to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, we’re investing in the American-made batteries we need to unleash clean energy. That means stronger supply chains, lower carbon pollution, and more manufacturing jobs here in America
