It has been roughly a month since Charlie Kirk, the right-wing political activist, entrepreneur, and media personality, was assassinated. With October 14th marking his birthday, friends, family, and supporters are celebrating the conservative commentator on what would’ve been his 32nd birthday.

October 14 has been designated as the “National Day of Remembrance” for Charlie Kirk, which was passed by unanimous decision from a coalition of Republican representatives.

As such, Florida Republicans have commented on the podcaster’s life and actions, honoring Kirk’s memory and legacy.

“On what would have been his 32nd birthday, Congress has designated October 14 as a National Day of Remembrance for Charlie Kirk. Charlie was fearless in defense of truth and tireless in his work to awaken the next generation to the values that make America strong,” Rep. Mike Haridopolos shared on X. "His voice continues to inspire millions."

“Charlie was a good man – a devout husband, father, and friend," Sen. Rick Scott expressed in a press release. "His life was shaped by his faith and the conviction that in America, debate and discussion are essential to the country's betterment. He believed in God, the American dream, the value of family, and the principles of our great nation.”

“As the founder and executive director of the nonprofit Turning Point USA, he and his team worked to build thousands of chapters across the nation dedicated to educating students about the principles of freedom, free markets, and limited government," the Senator added, highlighting that "Charlie inspired millions of young Americans to be involved in the future of their country and make their voices heard."

Senator Ashley Moody similarly expressed her gratitude for Kirk, writing on social media, “may his sacrifice never be forgotten, and may God bless the Kirk family as they carry on his legacy.”

President Donald Trump will travel back to the U.S. early after meeting with the leaders of several Middle Eastern nations following the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas.

He is expected to award Kirk the nation's highest civilian honor posthumously, the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
