Representative Byron Donalds (R-FL) appeared on Real America’s Voice to discuss President Joe Biden (D) and his administration’s priorities pertaining to the United States’ southern border in comparison to other borders around the world.

Alluding to his travels as he has stumped for former President Donald Trump (R), Rep. Donalds has seen frustration from American voters regarding this very issue.

“This is something that I’ve seen around the country. You have Democrats, you have independents who are wondering why Joe Biden has prioritized Ukraine’s border. He has prioritized a radical Green New Deal agenda,” said Rep. Donalds.

He continued by mentioning that cities across the United States cannot handle the massive amounts of migration coming through the southern border.

“[Biden has left] our country wide open. He’s left poor families, minority families at the danger of these migrant groups that have just stormed so many cities in America. And they’re flummoxed, they’re apoplectic, they’re mad, and I think they’re going to take it out on Joe Biden, but it’s a bigger issue than that. You have somebody in the White House right now whose only desire was to ever have the presidency, but no desire to fight for this country,” said Rep. Donalds.

He concluded, “America’s seen enough of it.”

The Florida congressman supported Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R-TX) in his effort to secure their section of the southern border despite attempts by the federal government to intervene.

“Governor Abbot [sic] is 1000% correct. If Joe Biden won’t secure the border, the States will. God bless Texas!” Donalds said.

While stumping for Trump in Iowa recently, Donalds gave a passionate speech in an attempt to convince Iowans to caucus for his candidate.

In Rep. Donalds’ speech, he reminded Hawkeye State residents of President Trump’s track record concerning important issues such as the border and Russian aggression.

“We were a country that had open borders under the presidency of Barack Obama and a guy came in in 2016 and he turned it around. His name was Donald J. Trump. There was a world that was on fire, the Russians had went into Crimea, and they went into the Donbas the first time, and it was a guy who became president in 2016 – put a stop to all of it – his name was Donald J. Trump.”

Donalds remains as a candidate for Vice President on a Trump ticket. But he could have to change his residency if selected.
