While stumping for former President Donald Trump (R-FL) in Iowa, Representative Byron Donalds (R-FL) gave a passionate speech in an attempt to convince Iowans to caucus for his candidate.

In Rep. Donalds’ speech, he reminded Hawkeye State residents of President Trump’s track record concerning important issues such as the economy, Russian aggression, and abortion.

“We are in the midst of the presidency of the very worst that our country has to offer,” said Donalds. I frequently refer to Joe Biden as the ‘Master of Disaster’ because everything is all wrong. Everything. Let me say this to you: There was a guy who became president in 2016 at the time when our economy was stagnant and wages were flat, and he turned it around, and his name was Donald J. Trump.

He continued, “We were a country that had open borders under the presidency of Barack Obama and a guy came in in 2016 and he turned it around. His name was Donald J. Trump. There was a world that was on fire, the Russians had went into Crimea, and they went into the Donbas the first time, and it was a guy who became president in 2016 – put a stop to all of it – his name was Donald J. Trump.”

The Florida congressman continued to praise the former president for his accomplishments.

“He changed the Supreme Court so that Roe v. Wade was repealed. He moved the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, something that every other Republican politician promised, he actually did. He showed our party how to stand up to the press, how to stand up to the radicals and hold firm on policies that benefit all Americans and his name was Donald J. Trump.

President Trump was the clear winner, getting over 50% of the vote. He won every county except Johnson County, which (with 95% of the votes in currently) he lost by 1% to Nikki Haley.

It was a resounding victory for Trump and the MAGA movement.

Trump holds a 13-point lead in the New Hampshire primary according to FiveThirtyEight.
