The State of the State

 

Gov. Ron DeSantis delivered his State of the State address to the Republican-led Florida Legislature, and while Republicans praised his accomplishments, Democrats showed just how bitter they are over being in the super minority.

It appears that the Democratic plan for the SOTS address was to ignore it.

Well, they didn’t just ignore it, they made fools of themselves by not applauding law enforcement, the war on fentanyl, and First Lady Casey DeSantis's battle with breast cancer. READ MORE

Is Lowering the age to buy a gun Smart?

A couple of Florida legislators have introduced a legislative measure to drop the age to buy a rifle from 21 to 18.

Is this really smart?

Many pro-gun advocates say that many 18-year-olds join the U.S. Military and are trained to shoot an M16 rifle, so why not afford them the opportunity to buy a similar weapon? READ MORE
