DeSantis Does Victory Dance Over Gillum’s Stunning Collapse

“If I had not won in 2018, this state would be in a must worse shape, and that’s not even a question,” said Gov Ron DeSantis when asked about Andre Gillum’s arrest.

Gov.DeSantis made his remarks in Broward County Thursday afternoon at a press conference to promote groundbreaking Alzheimer’s Disease treatment.

DeSantis appears to send out a veiled threat to those Democratic and sole Republican Lawmakers who voted against his “Freedom First” budget.

Rep. Anthony Sabatini was the only Republican to vote against DeSantis’ bill last earlier this year.

DeSantis said that those who opposed the budget “could be held accountable” for their actions.  READ MORE

Surfside Collapse: One Year Later

Families and elected officials will return to the site of the tragic apartment building collapse in Surfside, Florida on Friday. Those expected to attend are Gov. Ron DeSantis, Sens. Rick Scott and Marco Rubio, State Senators Shevrin Jones, Lauren Book, Jason Pizzo, State Rep. Michael Grieco, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cave, and other local officials.

The event will take place at 10 am directly across the street from where the Champlain Towers used to stand.

Former Brightline Trains Vice President and congressional chief of staff Rusty Roberts just scored the endorsement of the Police Benevolent Association (PBA).

“The voters have, in you, a voice for common-sense, practical and professional leadership for our community in Washington, D.C. We can think of no one more qualified to represent the residents of Central Florida than you, and our members are steadfast in their support of you in this election.”—PBA support for Roberts.

One of Robert’s Republican congressional opponents, businessman Scott Sturgill, has also announced that he recently garnered a big endorsement.

Today, Sturgill announced 18th Judicial Circuit State Attorney Phil Archer has backed his congressional bid.

In the state house race in District 45, Republican Caroline Amesty announced that Flagler County Commission Chair Joe Mullins has endorsed her candidacy.

Marco Rubio-The only reason the Supreme Court building is encircled by armed guards & an 8-foot security fence is because law enforcement expects more pro-abortion violence if Roe v. Wade is overturned
