The 13th Congressional District race is heating up, at least in the Republican primary. Amanda Makki (R-FL) has called President Trump's (R) endorsement of Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) a result of "bad information" and that her opponent is clinically phony.
Makki, who has fully embraced Trump politics as her platform, wanted to get some choice words in as news broke of Trump's endorsement of Luna. "Let me be very clear: I support President Trump and his policies 100%. That’s why, while Luna disappeared after badly losing the 2020 election, I volunteered as an election security attorney for President Trump in the Wisconsin recount."
Not only does Makki show a lengthy loyalty to the Trump campaign and a well-seasoned political career, but she also feels that Luna is a phony, in the clinical sense.
"Here’s the truth about Anna Paulina Luna. In her own words, she is 'able to take on different personalities depending on what image I'm going for. I think getting into character of what you are selling is super important,'" said Makki, adding "That clinical phoniness is exactly what Luna is using to try and trick Florida Republicans in this election."
In a recent press release, the Makki team attacked Luna for previously supporting the "Obama-Biden ticket" twice. Makki believes that Trump's endorsement is just a result of "bad information."
The Floridian previously reported that Amanda Makki was endorsed by Maggie's List. This PAC aims to elect conservative women to the US Congress and is named after Margaret Chase Smith, a Republican who was the first woman elected to both US House and Senate.
