Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna issued a warning to the public on Friday, claiming that leftist agitators posing in "MAGA gear" are looking to intentionally start trouble during this weekend's No Kings Day protests across Florida.

"Do NOT attend the No Kings protests. I have screen shots circulating that leftists are going to wear MAGA gear in an attempt to cause chaos," Luna said.

Along with her warning, Rep. Luna sent a letter to Trump requesting that the president freeze federal funds to the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO). The congresswoman claims the AFL-CIO has direct ties to this weekend's demonstrations.

"I’ve formally submitted a letter to @potus requesting an immediate freeze on all federal funds authorized to the AFL-CIO, an organization that has received over $72M and is directly tied to the upcoming “No Kings” protest this Saturday," Luna said.

"The American people are sick of watching their taxpayer dollars fund a Marxist race war," Luna added.

As many as 75 No Kings Day Protests are expected in Florida on Saturday. Overall, roughly 2,000 rallies are scheduled across the United States, with thousands of attendees expected.

The protests, in response to actions by President Donald Trump, also coincide with the president's scheduled military parade in Washington, D.C. Rallies have also been fueled by recent tensions in Los Angeles over federal immigration raids.

Not looking to turn into California, Florida is doing its best to stay ahead of the curve. Some are even giving protestors a more direct approach.

"Our folks are ready at the state level. As you know, the local police will be the first to respond if anything goes wrong," Gov. Ron DeSantis said to Laura Ingraham. "County sheriffs will be there as well. We have our state law enforcement on standby. They'll be ready to go."
