Officials may not know for a very long time what actually caused the collapse of the Champlain Tower in Surfside, Florida that left 1 confirmed fatality and 99 others unaccountable.
The scene was horrific. People can be heard banging from underneath the rubble.
Search & Rescue is all that is on everyone’s mind. Gov. Ron DeSantis, along with Lt. Gov. Jeanette Nunez, CFO Jimmy Patronis, Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, Sen. Lauren Book, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Miami-Dade County Commissioner Rene Garcia, Sen. Jason Pizzo, and many other local officials were on hand to access the damage.
Gov. DeSantis signed an Executive Order to help provide assistance to the City of Surfside, a predominantly Jewish-America city situated next to Bal Harbour.
