A new poll conducted by the Associated Industries of Florida (AIF) shows U.S. Sen. Ashley Moody (R-FL) with a 7-point edge over Democratic challenger Alexander Vindman in her bid campaign for a full term in the U.S. Senate.

Ashley Moody: 47%

Alexander Vindman: 40%

Undecided: 14%

“Senator Ashley Moody holds a healthy lead well outside the margin of error in her re-election campaign for US Senate,” AIF Vice President of Political Operations Jeremy Sheftel said in a release. “With a 1.5 million statewide voter registration advantage over Democrats and Republicans continuing to net more registrations month-over-month, voters are clearly rewarding Moody’s leadership and record of results for working Florida families.”

According to a press release, Vindman's support is also not clear-cut. Only 29% of voters indicated they are "definitely" voting for the former national security aide, who played a key role in the first impeachment of President Donald Trump in 2010.

On the flipside, 35% of voters indicated they are "definitely” voting for Sen. Moody in the race. Moody, appointed to the U.S. Senate by Gov. Ron DeSantis in January 2025, has been endorsed by President Donald Trump for a full term.

Moreover, Sen. Moody holds major advantages over Vindman across the state, including Ft. Myers (+41), Jacksonville (+22), the Panhandle (+19), Tampa (+5), and Orlando (+5). However, Vindman holds an 8-point lead over Moody in Miami, albeit with 21% of voters undecided.

Moody also leads Vindman by 15 points with white voters (52% to 37) and by 10 points with Hispanics (48% to 38%).

In addition, Moody holds a 9-point lead over Vindman with men (49% to 40%) and a 5-point edge with women (45% to 40). Notably, 16% of women voters are undecided in the race, compared to 11% of men.

Rep. Angie Nixon (D-Jacksonville), who's also running for U.S. Senate was not mentioned in the poll's findings.

The AIF, known as "The Voice of Florida Business," endorsed Moody for a full term in the U.S. Senate in February. Moody also held a 7-point lead over Vindman in a Stetson University poll from April, and an 8-point edge over Vindman in a North Florida poll from March.

The primary is Aug. 18, with the general election on Nov. 3.
