White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles has been named to Forbes' 2025 list of the World's Most Powerful Women, according to a recent release by the magazine. Wiles, ranked 66th, is the only American woman in politics to be mentioned on the list.
Wiles is the first female chief of staff for the White House after being selected by President Donald Trump in January. She was also Trump's Co-Campaign Manager for his 2024 presidential campaign, playing an integral role in his election for a second term.
Florida Congressman Mario-Diaz Balart congratulated Wiles on the honor through social media.
"Well-deserved recognition for my dear friend and fellow Floridian, Susie Wiles," Diaz-Balart wrote. "Her leadership, dedication, and integrity continue to set the standard and make a lasting impact. Congratulations!"

A true trailblazer in politics: first woman to serve as White House Chief of Staff, veteran strategist who cut her teeth in Washington in the ’70s, helping everyone from Reagan to Trump win."
A graduate of the University of Maryland in 1978, Wiles began her public service in the Reagan administration in the 1980s. After relocating to Florida in 1985, Wiles worked with two Republican mayors in Jacksonville before assisting Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) launch his political career in 2010.
Scott went on to become the governor of Florida from 2011 to 2019. He later became a U.S. Senator, a position he still holds today.
Wiles was also honored by the Republican Party of Florida in August.
