The rivalry between South Carolina Rep. Nancy Mace (R) and Florida Rep. Cory Mills (R) continues as Rep. Mace is accusing Rep. Mills of "stolen valor."

The heated exchange began after Rep. Mills joined three other Republicans in voting against Rep. Mace's resolution to censure Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar (D).

In a video posted on social media, the Florida Republican defended his vote, commenting that he was not interested in "a retaliatory tit-for-tat."

Rep. Mace wanted to censure Rep. Omar over perceived inflammatory remarks regarding Charlie Kirk, but Rep. Mills felt that the effort did not abide by the First Amendment.

"If we're trying to make sure that this type of rhetoric doesn't get out, and that it doesn't take hold, elevating someone and making them a free speech martyr is not going to achieve that," he explained in his defense.

Since then, Rep. Mace has amped up her criticism of Rep. Mills, and the latest criticism accuses him of "stolen valor."

In a series of social media posts, the South Carolina Republican suggested that Rep. Mills is a liar who can't be trusted.

"This guy has been parading himself around as some sort of U.S. Army special ops covert Ranger sniper James Bond 007 elite commando for years and it's not even remotely close," she shared on X.

"He was an ambulance driver mainly in the motor pool," she added.

She also suggested that Rep. Mills should be stripped of his committee assignments.

"This guy sits on the House Armed Service Committee? Unreal," she expressed.

Rep. Mills has responded to her criticism, sharing that "a lot of disparaging remarks made about me, but I am proud of the things myself and our team has done while I've been in office," sharing images and videos of recovery efforts he's been a part of.

He also shared a letter from Paul Sovitsky, Rep. Mills' Team Leader in Baghdad Iraq.
